The affected creature assumes all statistics of the chosen Animal, but they retain their own mental statistics (Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma). If they are reduced to 0 HP while transformed, they revert to their true form and become Exhausted and Wounded.
The affected creature may make a DC 18 Mental Defense Check to Resist this spell.
Upcast: Increase the DC by 2 and the max animal level by 1 per spell level.
