Melee Attack
One of the Attack types.
To make a Melee Attack, you make a Strength Check and compare the result to the target's AC.
You can only make a Melee Attack against a target that you are Engaged with.
Damage
On a successful Check:
The attack deals damage equal to the Weapon's damage die plus Half your Strength.
On a failed Check:
The attack deals no damage.
You may treat a failed Melee Attack Check as a successful Check by using a Reckless Attack.
Reckless Attack
When you fail a Melee Attack, you may force it to be a success, unless it was a Critical Miss.
If you do, you take HP damage of a Damage Type that the target is capable of dealing equal to the difference between the failed Check and the target's AC.
Improvised Weapons
Improvised weapons, including unarmed attacks, Mundane Damage equal to Half your Strength.
