Initiative
When a Combat encounter begins, you need to determine Turn order for the Round.
Initiative Procedure
- Any PCs that take a Fast Turn go first.
- Next, all the hostile NPCs take their Turn.
- Any PCs that take a normal Turn go after.
- Any Surprised creatures go last.
At the end of this procedure, the Round ends and the next Round starts back at step 1.
PCs may change the type of turn they take every round.
Ties
The PCs may decide their Turn order amongst themselves, or simply pass play to the left.
The GM decides the NPC's Turn order.
